Research Projects
My research is focused on the selective oxidation of short chain hydrocarbons in a fixed-bed reactor. Currently, I design and construct a setup to measure profiles for the oxidation reaction in a pilot plant scale in cooperation with BasCat/TU-Berlin and the Fritz-Haber Institute of the Max Planck Society in Berlin. Hence, a kinetic test setup is planned to determine kinetic parameters in a differential reactor.
The reactor will be modeled using ComSol Multiphysics™ to predict and validate concentration and temperature profiles.
